Porcelain-Fused-to-Zirconia (PFZ)

Our porcelain-fused-to-zirconia restorations are the superior counterpart to porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. Fabricated by layering highly esthetic porcelain over a fully anatomical zirconia substructure, this product provides advanced esthetics and a high flexural strength of up to 1,450 MPa. While they have a strength comparable to that of a PFM, these restorations do not suffer from common esthetic disadvantages. These unattractive issues include discoloration or a dark line that can appear along the gingiva. Our team uses the latest CAD/CAM technology to ensure ideal fit for every patient. PFZs are hypoallergenic, biocompatible, and provide lifelike coloration.

A PFZ Restoration for Every Case

We created our three product lines to fulfill our mission of being a dental laboratory that is accessible for a wide variety of dentists. Whether you are in need of a more economically priced crown or high-end cosmetic restoration, Louvre Dental Laboratory has the PFZ solution for you. Due to the skill required to fabricate excellent porcelain-fused-to-zirconia restorations, this product is only available in our Classic and Masterpiece Series.

The Classic Series

The Classic PFZ is fabricated with fully layered porcelain. The zirconia substructure is expertly milled to be fully anatomical to ensure longevity.

The Masterpiece Series

The Masterpiece PFZ ensures high esthetics for every case. Fabricated by one of our Master Dental Technicians, the PFZ is multi layered with the highest quality porcelain available. The zirconia substructure is also expertly milled to be fully anatomical
